Physicochemical Changes of Impacted Tomatoes with Pendulum Mechanical Forces
Tomato is one of the sensitive fruits to mechanical impacts and physical tensions. The mostmechanical damages arise from handling which results in reducing tomato quality. in this study, impact energy effect has been studied in 3 different levels 0, 0.14 and 0.25 J by a pendulum impactapparatus, on changes of physicochemical properties of tomato, hybrid variety Shiva F1, includingripening factor...
متن کاملDissipative Mechanical Systems with Delay
The idea of dissipative mechanical system with delay is proposed. The paper studies the phenomenon of dissipation with delay for Euler-Poincaré systems on Lie algebras or equivalently, for LiePoisson systems on the duals of Lie algebras. The study was suggested by the work [2] and it is ended with a discussion regarding the stability and the Hopf bifurcations for the free rigid body with delay.
متن کاملSTABILITY ANALYSIS OF A PLANKTON SYSTEM WITH DELAY
This paper is evolved to have insight of Plankton-Nutrients interactions in the presence of delay in the growth term of phytoplankton species .The conditions for asymptotic stability about endemic equilibrium are derived in the absence of delay. The Nyquist criteria is used to estimate the length of delay to preserve stability .Analytic criterion for the existence of hopf-bifurcation is also dis...

Configurational forces as dissipative mechanisms: a revisit
A variational argument is used to obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for interpreting the work done by configurational forces as the net dissipation. This condition is the Euler–Lagrange equation associated with the variational integral. We use this simple proposition to re-interpret classical results and also gain insight into recently obtained configurational forces in the stress spa...
